What We Collect

Moving a pet across borders takes more information than most services need. Depending on what you ask us to do, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, phone number, email, address, and the messaging app you use with us.
  • Identity documents: a copy of your passport or ID, when an airline or a government authority requires it for your pet’s permits.
  • Pet details: species, breed, age, weight, microchip number, vaccination records, test results and health certificates.
  • Travel details: departure and destination, travel dates, flight and routing.
  • Billing details: the information needed to issue your invoice, including a company tax code if you ask for a company invoice.
  • Files you upload: photos of your pet and documents you attach to the quote form.
  • Photos and videos taken during the case: crate training, check-in, handover, quarantine updates.
  • Website usage data: collected through cookies and Google Analytics, described in Cookies and Analytics below.

Why We Use It

  • To provide the service you ask for: prepare your quote, prepare documents, book flights, clear customs and quarantine, and keep you updated.
  • To meet legal obligations: invoices, accounting and tax records, and the records customs and veterinary authorities require.
  • With your consent: to publish your pet’s photos or story on our website or social channels.
  • To improve the website: to see which pages are read and where visitors come from, using aggregated analytics.

We do not sell your information and do not use it for purposes unrelated to your case.

Who We Share It With

We share only what each party needs to complete your case:

  • Airlines: booking, check-in and cargo documents.
  • Logistics partners: logistics and freight forwarding partners that handle the related work.
  • Government authorities: veterinary, customs and biosecurity agencies in Vietnam and in the transit and destination countries.
  • Quarantine facilities: where the destination requires a quarantine stay.
  • Veterinary clinics and laboratories: health checks, vaccinations and required tests.
  • Daisy’s partner agents in the destination country: customs clearance and delivery at the other end.
  • Service providers that store or process data for us: our web hosting and business email providers, Google (Gmail, spreadsheets and Google Analytics), and the messaging apps you choose to contact us on.
  • Authorities with legal power to request it, when the law requires us to disclose information.

Information Sent Outside Vietnam

International pet transport means your information has to travel. Airlines, foreign authorities, laboratories and our partner agents receive your details abroad, and some of our service providers store data outside Vietnam. We send only what each step requires.

Photos and Videos

  • Client faces are always masked before anything is published. This applies to our website and our social channels.
  • We publish your pet’s photos or story only with your consent.
  • You can ask us at any time to remove a photo or story. We remove it from our website and our own channels and ask search engines to refresh their copies. We cannot control copies already saved by third parties.

Files You Send Through the Quote Form

Files uploaded through the quote form are stored on our server and are not published. They can only be opened by Daisy staff who are signed in to our system.

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser.

What this website uses:

Cookie Set by Purpose How long
_ga, _ga_3NN4WZ0H2G Google Analytics 4 Counts visits and shows which pages are read and how visitors find us. Reports are aggregated; we do not use them to identify you. Up to 2 years
WordPress cookies This website Only set if you leave a comment (to remember your name and email) or sign in. Varies

What this website does not use: advertising cookies, remarketing pixels or tracking for third-party advertising.

How to turn them off: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The website still works without them.

How We Protect Your Information

  • Access to client files is limited to the staff handling your case.
  • Quotes, contracts and official documents go through our company email, not informal chat threads, so there is a clear record.
  • Our website and hosting use access controls and security monitoring.

No method of storing or sending information is completely risk-free. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

How Long We Keep It

  • Case files: for as long as your relocation needs them, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep transport and customs records.
  • Invoices and accounting records: for the period required by Vietnam’s accounting and tax laws.
  • Quote requests that do not go ahead: only while they may still be useful to you, for example if you come back to the same trip later. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
  • Analytics data: Google Analytics keeps visit-level data for 14 months; after that, only aggregated reports remain.

After that, we delete the information or make it anonymous.

Your Rights

Under Vietnamese law you can:

  • Know how your information is processed.
  • Give or withdraw consent.
  • See the information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Correct it.
  • Ask us to delete it, or to limit how we use it.
  • Object to a particular use.
  • Make a complaint.

Some records cannot be deleted while the law still requires us to keep them, such as invoices. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before you withdrew it.

To use any of these rights, email support@daisypettransport.com. We confirm that we have received your request and respond in full within the time the law allows.

Children

Our services are for adults arranging pet transport. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
